On Monday 4th June I was invited down to the Queens Diamond Jubilee Concert that was held outside Buckingham Palace.
The night was full of exciting acts and performances such as Shirley Bassey, Alfie Boe, Jools Holland, Jessie J, JLS, Elton John, Tom Jones, Lang Lang, Annie Lennox, Madness, Paul McCartney, Kylie Minogue, Cliff Richard, Ed Sheeran and Stevie Wonder.

It was wonderful and also one of my highlights of the night to see Stevie Wonder who is one of my music heros perform, I never thought I would get a chance to see him.

A 90’s band called Madness done a wonderful and outstanding performance on top of Buckingham Palace with flashing lights and moving images projected on to the Palace.

Another great performance was the number one Queen’s Jubilee single called “Sing” with was performed by features 210 musicians from the Commonwealth including the African Children’s Choir, Royal Solomon Islands Police Force Band, Slum Drummers from Kenya’s Kibera slum, Aboriginal guitarist Gurrumul and the Military Wives choir. Gary Barlow was the one who put this together.
Overall I had a great night and a wonderful experience, this is a once in a life time thing and I feel so glad that I was a part of it.
